DUAL TOP TEN RESULTS FOR PERCAT AT SUPERCARS SEASON OPENER ✅

Nick Percat opened his tenure with the Matt Stone Racing squad by posting two consistent top-ten results at Round 1 of the 2024 Supercars Championship in Bathurst.

Known as a specialist at The Mountain, the 2011 Great Race winner charged his Bendix Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 into the shootout on Saturday, notching the eighth fastest time as P8 was where he would start Race 1.

Improving during the race, Percat once again demonstrated his skill around arguably one of the most technical tracks in the world, climbing to a strong P6 in his debut drive for the team.

Percat noted that comfort was high and the synergy was strong between he and the machine, appreciating the philosophy adopted by MSR throughout the race weekend.

Making his way into the shootout again on Sunday as the sun rose on The Mountain, Percat pushed to capture the ninth fastest time in the session, which placed him in ninth place on the grid.

A consistent and calculated 40-laps around Bathurst resulted in a P9 performance, and sees Nick sit an impressive sixth place in the standings entering the Melbourne SuperSprint in just under a month's time.

Nick Percat: “What a weekend for the Bendix Racing crew! Sixth in the championship with two top-ten results; two entries into the shootout, for me honestly I couldn’t have imagined it going much better. It was amazing to get miles underneath us in the car - it’s much different to what I’m used to with the overall philosophy of the build. I can’t wait to get to the next race and continue building momentum.”
