Nick reveals 2023 Mobil 1™ NTI Racing No. 2 Ford Mustang GT

Walkinshaw Andretti United has today pulled the covers off the Mobil 1™ NTI Racing No. 2 Ford Mustang GT, which Nick Percat will drive in the 2023 Supercars Championship.

Mobil 1 enters its 30th year in partnership with Walkinshaw Andretti United in 2023, an incredible feat from the world’s leading synthetic oil company, with the anniversary to be celebrated throughout the season.

Mobil 1 will once again be seen on the bonnet of Car No. 2. NTI, Australia’s specialist insurer, continue as the Co-Naming Rights Partner of the No. 2 entry, following their increased support in 2022 – and take the major branding position on the side of Car No. 2, with their Truck Assist branding also seen throughout.

The release of Car No.2 also marks a milestone in the Team’s history, the first Ford Mustang GT – as the sport enters a new era with Gen3.

The new white and silver look coincides with the new era, a fresh look for the next generation, brought to life through PPG, Signzone and Spicers. Included in the design is the GT stripes down the centre of the car, synonymous with the Mustang around the globe.

Morris returns as a Platinum Partner for their 13th year, a partnership with extensive links throughout the Team and business, alongside ultra-high performance LED Lighting manufacturer VALO, Goodyear Autocare, a one-stop shop for tyre and automotive services, and Isuzu Trucks, one of Australia’s leading trucking companies.

Percat will get his first laps behind the wheel of the Mobil 1 NTI Racing Ford Mustang GT Wednesday, February 15, at Winton Motor Raceway.

“The Mobil 1 NTI Racing Mustang looks incredible; the white base is really clean and the car itself looks so tough.

“The team have put in some crazy hours and made a lot of sacrifices to get it to this point, so I can’t thank them enough, we’ve seen Gen3 take shape pretty rapidly at the workshop to be able to get behind the wheel now is exciting.

“A huge thank you to all our partners, existing and new, that have made this possible, the continuity is incredible, and I’m really proud to represent them all in the new era. To be a part of Mobil 1’s 30th year with the team is unbelievable, and the support from NTI I’ve had has been amazing.

“Really looking forward to getting our heads around these new cars as quickly as possible and seeing what we can do.”
