Percat and Slade Ready to Launch MSR’s Enduro Campaign

The 2025 Supercars Championship shifts into endurance mode this weekend, with Nick Percat and Tim Slade joining forces in Matt Stone Racing’s #10 Bendix Chevrolet Camaro for the season’s opening long-distance battle at The Bend.

For Percat, the Enduro Cup represents a chance to lock down vital championship points and build momentum heading toward the Finals. For Slade, it’s a return to the grid after stepping away from full-time racing last year — and a reunion with his long-time friend and former teammate.

A Partnership Built on Experience

The combination brings together two South Australian racers whose careers have often run in parallel. Both have been teammates before, both have proven themselves race winners, and both know what it takes to be competitive in the toughest conditions.

Percat enters the endurance stretch with renewed confidence after a strong first season at MSR, while Slade’s experience and mechanical sympathy make him one of the most reliable co-drivers on the grid.

Team owner Matt Stone believes the pairing gives the team one of its best shots yet at a Bathurst 1000 podium — or even victory.

Eyes on the Big Prize

With only a handful of Enduro rounds on the calendar, every lap and every pit stop carries weight. The Bend 500 will be the first test of the Percat-Slade partnership, with strategy, tyre life and consistency as important as outright pace.

“Enduros demand so much more than speed — consistency, strategy, trust,” Percat explained. “I’m looking forward to teaming up with Tim. I know his experience will help enormously.”

Slade is equally motivated: “Even though I’ve stepped back from full-time racing, this role with Nick gives me a chance to be right in the thick of it again. The Bend is always tough, and we want to make sure we hit the ground running.”

Looking Ahead

The endurance stretch is a defining period in the Supercars season. A strong result at The Bend will set the tone for Bathurst, where the Percat-Slade duo will be aiming to deliver MSR’s best chance yet at conquering the Mountain.
