Solid Start for Car 10 in Today’s Supercars Practice
Matt Stone Racing’s Car 10 pairing of Nick Percat and Tim Slade opened the endurance campaign with a composed and productive practice day, ticking off their full program and building a strong baseline for the weekend.
The crew focused on long-run balance and driver change drills. Nick completed the early runs to establish a platform on used tyres before Tim cycled through co-driver laps and pit stop rehearsals. Both drivers reported improved confidence on corner entry and traction on exit as the session progressed.
Nick Percat: “It was a clean day. We chased balance early, then the changes we made in the last run really brought the car to us. We’ve got a solid race car to tune on overnight.”
Tim Slade: “Good mileage, no drama, and our stops and changeovers were sharp. There’s still a little to find on the green tyre, but the long-run feels encouraging.”
Car 10 rolls into tomorrow’s sessions with a clear direction and confidence in the package as the team eyes a strong qualifying and race result.
